THE DEVELOPMENT OF CULTURAL TOURISM WITH EQUITABLE AND SUSTAINABLE NUANCED CREATIVE ECONOMY IN BALI

Abstrak
The long-term objective of this study
is the development of equitable and sustainable community-based cultural
tourism. As a result, this study is focused on three aspects: (1) the potential
of the socio-cultural system of the community, (2) the steps taken by the
community in its business in tourism so far, and (3) the constraints faced by
the community in efforts to develop equitable and sustainable popular cultural
tourism. In this regard, specific targets to be achieved through this study are
scientific publications in international journals and the model of community-based
tourism development programs with a nuance of an equitable and sustainable
creative economy.
The
results showed that the development of tourism in TengananPagringsingan village
was based on local rules(awig-awig) of the traditional/customaryvillage
of Tenganan so that local political aspects contained in it as local wisdom/rules
had been accommodated. Local handicrafts, such as geringsing woven fabric,
woven ate, prasi painting, are tourism products in
TengananPegringsingan. Environmental preservation is well maintained, even
TengananPagringsingan village has won the Kalpataru award as a sign of
environmental sustainability. Tourism products in Tenganan Village are enjoyed
by the local community and are still accumulated in the local village, not
flowing outside the village. The development of tourism in Tenganan village can
be said to becommunity-based tourism, and it is believed to be sustainable
because it is based on local rules, the community is advantagedby the increased
prosperity, and the sustainability of the TengananPagringsingan village
environment.
