PUSAT PERTANIAN ORGANIK DI GIANYAR, BALI Penerapan Konsep Permakultur pada Fungsi Bangunan Pertanian

The use of addictive chemicals in agriculture is the reason why Gianyar regency increases the development of organic agricultural system. One of the organic agricultural systems developed is permaculture. Permaculture is an environmentall agricultural system and based on sustainability. Therefore, permaculture is chosen as primary concept in a design of Organic Agriculture Centre in Gianyar, Bali. Organic Agriculture Centre in Gianyar is a place designed as an exemplifications, training of organic agricultural system, and also as a new tourist attraction in agricultural sector. This study is used a mixed method that combined both qualitative and quantitative methods. Through the approach between civitas, activities, and environment, the concept of permaculture is important to assist design process and manage a sustainable and environmental farmland. Moreover, this concept could also integrate all the units in this facility including civitas, buildings, and the environment in an interconnected order. Therefore all the natural and human resources can be optimally utilized.
