Learning is a process carried out by a
person to obtain changes in himself. The learning process is divided into two,
namely direct and indirect learning. The direct learning process is a learning
process that is carried out directly (face to face) between the teacher and the
student. Meanwhile, the learning process is not directly carried out without
face to face with the help of intermediary media such as smartphones or laptops.
As time goes by and the development of
technology, the online learning process becomes important. One of the online
learning media used at Udayana University is Else-U which has been actively
used by lecturers and students. However, this media has not been used evenly so
that many lecturers and students do not know what Else-U's performance is like.
This paper examines the performance of Else-U and the factors related to
differences in opinion among Udayana University students.
Else-U's
performance in this paper was collected using an online survey using a
questionnaire to 100 respondents who were taken purposively. Statistical
analysis using category data analysis. This paper examines whether or not there
is a link between gender differences, GPA improvement with the opinions of
Udayana University students on Else-U performance (Else-U makes learning
easier). From this opinion, two categories of answers are provided, namely
agree and disagree. The GPA increase variable provided two answer categories (increasing,
decreasing / constant), and a gender variable.
The
results of the Else-U performance study showed that there was no correlation
between gender differences and student opinion that Else-U made learning
easier. There is a relationship between increasing GPA with the opinion of
students that Else-U makes learning easier. The size of the association is a
unidirectional relationship where gender differences and an increase in GPA are
thought to be the cause of student disagreements that Else-U makes learning
easier.
Based on the difference in risk (RD), there is no tendency for students to disagree that Else-U makes learning easier even though they are of different gender. The tendency of students to disagree that Else-U makes learning easier will increase if the student's GPA is down or constant. This means that students whose GPA increases tend to agree that Else-U makes learning easier. In terms of the Risk Ratio (RR), the tendency of female students to think that Else-U does not make learning easier is the same as male students. There is a tendency for students with a decreased or constant GPA who think Else-U does not make learning easier than students with an increased GPA. Based on the ODDS Ratio (OR), the number of female students who disagreed that Else-U made learning easier was 0.75 times the number of male students. The number of students with a decreased or fixed GPA who disagreed that Else-U made learning easier was 42 times the number of students with an increased GPA.
