The lack of appropriate media tools for teaching deaf children makes it difficult for teachers to explain the subject matter to students. Furthermore, curriculum standards are equivalent to those for normal children but do not take into account the unique needs of deaf children in understanding the content of a lesson. If normal children can understand all of the material in one semester with the same weight of material, deaf children take additional effort to understand it. Explaining a subject to deaf children requires different delivery methods and media than explaining a subject to hearing children. Word visualization is required in subjects that require extensive explanation of the material in the form of pictures, particularly in Mathematics and Science subjects that require more visual tools. Teachers struggle to explain the materials in the lesson due to the limitations of teaching aids and the lack of adequate explanations for pictures. This limitation does not affect teachers who can draw, but it does affect teachers who cannot draw, so the explanation is only available in written and verbal (oral) forms. Because deaf children lack vocabulary in communicating, teacher must be clear and consistent in delivering teaching materials.

It is necessary to provide examples of how to present online assignments/quizzes, and the assessment is tailored to students with special needs.
