Suicide attempt is an act of self-injury that is done intentionally and has the goal of dying, but does not cause death. This study aims to describe mental and personality disorders and provide an analysis of the characteristics of patients who attempt suicide who are admitted to the Emergency Unit at General Hospital Prof. dr. IGNG Ngoerah Denpasar. The research was carried out at General Hospital Prof.dr. IGNG Ngoerah Denpasar. The research method was descriptive analytic, cross-sectional using demographic questionnaires, Mini International Neuropsychiatry Interview (MINI), Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI). Data is processed using SPSS software. In the study, it was found that the average age was 30 years and the female sex was the most. The characteristics of the personality traits of the most respondents are paranoia and borderline. There is a close relationship between anxiety, depression, and personality with suicide risk
