Abstrak

Students’ activity center of Gianyar is a facility that accommodates non-formal learning activity for student. This facility is one of the problem solvers for the lack of public facility that can support students’ activities outside their school. The Central Bureau of Statistic in Gianyar Regency records that the number keeps increasing each year. According to the data in 2016, there are 2,954 students in senior high school (SMA) and 2,671 students in vocational high school (SMK). Those numbers are far too high compared to the number of learning facility in which there are only a library and a small numbers of Wi-Fi corner that can be used in the area. Therefore, another learning facility is needed to be built. On designing this kind of facility, we need to pay more attention on space zoning of building in order to make it more comfortable. There are many factors that affect the zoning of building that are the facilitating activity, the program, the area, the connection, and the organization of the space as well as the characteristic of the site. Throughout its process, the building is built in a monolid way with five floors within it. Besides, it also uses the splitting system on the floor in order to make strong connectivity and space function among the floors
