Abstrak

Abstract Transmitter and receiver ultrasonics wave circuit had been done for detecting vibrating surface. An IC 555 and an IC LM 311 are respectively used for tranmitter and receiver components in this circuit as well as TY recorder for detection. For calibration had been used transmitter and receiver ultrasonic wave standard (type 461 000) made in Germany with accuration of 99.9 %. Application of this equipment for detecting the acceleration of vibration spring. The experiment used three kind of spring with different force constant. The acceleration vibration of spring 1 when the distance 10 cm and 8 cm from transmitter and receiver are (7,4) cos (11,43t – ?) m/s2 and (10,2) cos (11,43t – ?) m/s2 respectively, it is also (9,9) cos (13,06t – ?) m/s2 and (10,6) cos (13,06t – ?) m/s2 for spring 2 as well as (12,1) cos (15,7t – ?) m/s2 and (14,0) cos (15,7t – ?) m/s2 for spring 3. The higher force constant and nearer the source of vibration to receiver and trabsmitter, has higher acceleration.
