Preface

First of all, I would like to thank to The Almighty God, Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa for His blessing that this book entitled “Learning English for SMA” could be completed.

On this occasion with great humility, I would like to thank and express my best gratitude for my supervisor Prof. Dr. I Nengah Sudipa, M.A for his support in completing this book through the guidance and direction as well as the encouragement that are very useful and helpful for the preparation and writing of this book.

This book, “Learning English for SMA”, help learners during the course. There are five chapters in this book, each of the chapters is clearly outlined, from an introduction, to an explanation and task. It contains activities for each lesson and other helpful resources. However, learners cannot learn English from this book alone. For this reason, it is important that you practice English diligently in between classes.

As learners and instructors work together in English, each experiences the blessings of sacrifice, work, iii

self-reliance, and love. Positive attitude, preparation, and dedication to these lessons will improve your life and the lives of others. I hope you enjoy Learning English for SMA.
