Preface

Praise and Gratitude, the author presents the presence of Almighty God, because of his blessing and mercy, the

preparation of Learning English for Junior High School book can be completed as the final assignment that supervised by

Prof. I Nengah Sudipa.

This book is structured with the aim of providing English

teaching materials for Junior High School students with

reference to the competency standard of English subjects. This teaching materials designed for national use and

therefore English teachers can use it directly in the classroom or by adapting as needed based on teaching and learning needs. Learning materials and assignments contained are developed

with the principles of the Communicative Approach to

develop students’ competencies in the four language skills, namely, listening, speaking, reading and writing. In addition, learning materials and tasks integrally develop life skills in a

broad sense and increase awareness of diversity. Denpasar, 17th May 2020
