PREFACE

First of all, I would like to express my greatest

gratitude to the Almighty God for the endless blessings that enable me to finish this book. Then, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Prof. Dr. I Nengah

Sudipa, M. A. for guidance and advice in the process of writing this book.

Basically, Basic English for kid is an English

book for young learner that introduces English as a

foreign language. The book is aimed to help the learner

learn and develop their English competence as well as

their self-confidence. The units are developed from basic so that the learner may develop their English competence through the lessons. Each unit is also

designed with colorful picture to make learner more interested to learn English and find enjoyment. I realize that this book is not perfect yet. Any criticism or suggestion will be appreciated to make this

book get better. I hope this book can be useful for the

English learner.
