Biografi

Linawati hold PhD majoring telecommunications engineering from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia in 2004.
She was an executive director of Global Development Learning Network (GDLN) for nine years, starting from 2006.
At that time she involved actively developing e-learning, m-learning, and distance learning in Udayana University in collaboration with higher education institutions in Indonesia and in Asia Pacific under the World Bank support.
She won many research funding and has been published in International Conferences, and Journals.
She chaired international conferences, many workshops, focus group discussions, seminars, and trainings which involved wide range of professionals with many backgrounds. Below are her responsibilities focusing in technology for humanity.

Year 2015 – Now      Affinity Group Chair for Human in Technology Rural Empowering(HTRE) – IEEE Indonesia Section
Year 2012 – 2015     Head of Research on Technology for Reducing Povertyin Denpasar City, funded by Denpasar City Local Government
Year 2016 - Now      Coordinator of research project on Smart City Development in Badung Regency, funded by Badung Local Government.
Year 2015 – Now      Board of Counselor of IEEE Student Branch of Udayana University.
Year 2016 - Now      Counselor of IEEE Udayana Women in Engineering (WIE) Section
Year 2017 – Now      Head of Electrical Engineering Postgraduate Study Program
Year 2017                   E-Commerce Workshop for Women Empowerment in Denpasar’s Villages, funded by Center of Research and Community Service, Udayana University, and in   collaboration with Board of Women Empowerment and Children through Department of Children Protection, Women Empowerment, Population Control, and Family Planning, Denpasar City.
Year 2018            Electricity for the Poors in Bayung Gede Village, Kintamani, Bangli Regency, funded by Udayana University. Training on Nutrition and Finance Management for Housewives in Ababi Village, Abang, Karangasem Regency in collaboration with IEEE SIGHT Indonesia and Ababi Villages officials.
Year 2019            IEEE SIGHT Hits the Road - Bali - Accelerating Humanitarian Technologies applications growth in collaboration with IEEE SIGHT Indonesia Community Engagement -  mHealth and Educational Games for Mother and Child Health, in collaboration with IEEE SIGHT on eHealth & Telemedicine Indonesia, Udayana University, Institut Teknologi Bandung, IEEE Human in Technology Rural Empowering (HTRE) Indonesia & IEEE SSIT Indonesia, Indonesian eHealth & Telemedicine Society and Indonesian Biomedical Engineering Society. Sponsored by IEEE HAC Event Grant, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Disaster Monitoring and Mitigation, Community Engagement in collaboration with RAPI (Radio Antar Penduduk Indonesia) Community, Bali
