He was born in Klungkung, Bali, Indonesia on September 17, 1964. Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering was obtained from Brawijaya University Malang, his Master degree from Mechanical Engineering at ITS Surabaya, and his PhD from Chonbuk National University of South Korea. Non-degree training that has been followed such as Metal Craft Casting in India, Polymer Composite Training in South Korea and some domestic trainings. His carrier was started as assistant Lecturer at Mechanical Engineering Udayana University (Unud) on 1989. He was pointed as Academic Professor of Unud in the field of Polymer and Composite since 2014. Seminars and conferences at both National and International levels have been followed to increase insight in the Material and Mechanical fields. His present research project is about plastic waste and waste materials as new composite material constituents, the project funding from Ministry of Research Technology and higher education Indonesia.
