Biografi
Prof. Nyoman Semadi Antara, Ph.D. was born
on September 23, 1961. He graduated from Hokkaido University (Sapporo, Japan)
and got Ph.D. on Applied Microbiology in 2004. He has done scientific visit to USA
(2002), Taiwan (2003), Japan (2006), and Singapore (2009). Research
collaboration, training and consultation activities have been done with
domestic and overseas institutions and companies (such as PLN, SITH – ITB, IPB,
Unsrat, ACS – Denpasar, PT. Soejasch Bali, PT. Fu Ming Food International, PT.
Hatten Holding, USDA, USAID, Texas A&M University, National University of
Singapore/NUS, and Korea University/KU). He also actives in scientific
organizations and societies (Indonesia Food Technologist Association/Patpi, Indonesian
Society for Microbiology/Permi, Indonesian Society for Lactic Acid
Bacteria/ISLAB, Asian Federation of Lactic Acid Bacteria/AFLAB, and American
Society for Microbiology/ASM) and published his scientific articles in national
and international journals and seminars. Now he is a vice dean for academic
affair and faculty plan development, Faculty of Agricultural Technology. Until
now he is a head of Research Group of Bioindustrial Process. He actives
supporting to review the academic position of lecturer of KOPERTIS VIII (Bali,
NTB, and NTT Region). He is a member of Scientific Paper Validation Team in
Udayana University and KOPERTIS VIII. E-mail
