Born on the slopes of Mount Agung, Rendang Village, Rendang District, Karangasem Regency. My childhood existed in the village, while my adolescence and adulthood was and being carried out in the city of Denpasar. My Master of Agriculture degree was obtained at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) at the Faculty of Agriculture, in the field of Agricultural Socio-Economics. Furthermore, a Doctorate degree was obtained at Udayana University, in a cultural studies study program. Has been active at the Udayana Women's Study Center (PSW), has also been active at the Center for Disaster Studies, and has also been active at the Agribusiness Masters. Actively conducting research in the fields of women's empowerment, gender studies in farming, gender studies in Subak institutions, women's productivity in farming, studies on food insecurity, and women's participation in agricultural extension activities. In addition, I also wrote a book about gender in Subak and Subak from sociological studies.
