The author was born on November 28, 1955 in the city of Singaraja, Buleleng Regency, Bali Province. Graduated from elementary school in 1968, graduated from junior high school in 1971 and graduated from high school in 1974. Then in 1975 the author continued to study  at the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) year 1978 and graduated engineer  in 1982. In year 1982 - 1983 worked as a surveyor at the Bali Irrigation Project (BIP), Public Works Service of the Bali Province.

Then on March 1, 1983 the author accepted as temporary Lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University and appointed  as permanent Lecturer starting May 1, 1984. At the beginning of work the author was assigned by the Faculty as a Counterpart Consultant for the Agricultural Development Cooperation (ADC) of Korea in the Bali Irrigation Project (BIP) from 1983 - 1985. After that in 1986 continued to study to  Gajah Mada University and finished in 1989. Then in 1991 was assigned by the Faculty as a Counterpart Japan Consultant, and then in period 1992 -1996 was appointed as Secretary of the Department of Agriculture Cultivation at Udayana University. In year between 1997 - 1998 sat as the Research Team of Udayana University in the framework of Cooperation with Bappeda  Bali.Province.  In year 1998 was entrusted as the leader of the Research Team in collaboration between the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University and the Bali Provincial Public Works Office. In period year 2000 - 2002 was appointed as Head of the Department of Agriculture Cultivation, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. Then in the same year, in 2002, continued  Doctoral program in Brawijaya University Postgraduate Program and graduated Doctorate in 2006. After returning to the campus of the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University in the same year, namely in 2006 the writer was appointed as Head of the Irrigation Laboratory and in 2007 took part in the Cooperation Team between Udayana University and the Government of Leste Timor. Then in 2007 the Professor's Decree came in and the writer was confirmed as Professor in 2008.

                    Furthermore, in 2009 - 2015 he was believed to sit as the Chair of the Intellectual Property Rights Center of Udayana University. In the same year, namely 2009-2015 served as Chair of the Ecophysiology Laboratory. In year  2012 - 2013, the writer was entrusted as the Expert Team  in the framework of cooperation between the Master Program in Dry Land Agriculture and the Bali Provincial Forestry Service. In 2016 the writer was appointed as Secretary of the Establishment of the Study Program Professional Program Engineer  of Udayana University.  During year 2013 - 2019 sat as the Cooperation Team between the Faculty of Agriculture of Udayana University with the Faculty of Soil Science, Lomonosov Moscow State University and in this collaboration the authors received an award in the form of a Visiting Professor Certificate in 2017 for the implementation of the ASEAN-RUSSIA JOINT PROJECT. In the same year, 2017 - 2020, the writer sat as a Cooperation Team between CFASI Udayana University and Chiba University, Japan through the SATREPS program. The writer  sat as the Certification Team of Udayana University Lecturers from 2008 - 2020 and also as the Validator Team for lectures scientific work. In the same year, 2017-2020, the writer is trusted to sit as the Monitoring and Evaluation Team of the Ministry of Research and Technology, Jakarta. The author took part in the Professional Engineer Program  and graduated in 2020. During the 37 years work period (1983 - 2020) there were 40 published papers, 63 Papers / Writings presented in Seminars / Workshops and there were 116 Seminar /workshop activities that followed ..
