Made Wiryana was born in Singaraja on May 4 1954, graduated with a medical bachelor's program in 1980 at Udayana University, went on to study at the Anesthesiology specialist medical program at the University of Indonesia and graduated in 1985, obtained a doctorate at Udayana University in 2008. An Intensive Care Consultants in 1997 was obtained from the Association of Indonesian Anesthesiologists and Obstetric Anesthesia Consultants in 2012 obtained at the Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy College of Indonesia.

He was appointed as a professor in the field of anesthesiology and intensive therapy in the medical faculty of Udayana University on August 1 2009, actively teaching, guiding and testing students of the Bachelor of Medicine, Medical Profession, Specialist Education Programs and Doctoral Programs.

Besides teaching, he is active in community service activities as well as research and publication of books or scientific journals.

Currently Prof. Dr. dr. Made Wiryana, SpAn, KIC, KAO served as Coordinator of the Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy Study Program and as Chair of the Senate of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University
