Ketut Suastika, born March 29, 1955 in Singaraja, Bali. he was educated general practitioner at the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University and graduated in 1980. Continuing the Education of Internal Medicine Specialists at the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University and graduated in 1988. Then he obtained a degree as an Endocrinoligi & Metabolism Consultant since 1997, he completed his Education Doctorate at Airlangga University in 2000. and earned a Professor degree in 2002

Currently he is the Head of Endocrinology & Metabolism Division, Department / KSM of Internal Medicine, FK UNUD / Sanglah Hospital and also works as Lecturer in Endocrinolgy & Metabolic Disorder Block at the Faculty of Medicine, UNUD. He is often involved in various scientific activities such as being a speaker at international, national and regional seminars. Besides that he is also the author of several international journals related to Endocrinology & Metabolism and is often involved in various kinds of research both local and multicenter related to his field.
