Art requires technology, in addition to facilitating the work of artists, also to create works that are more beautiful and unique, where humans have always tried to create machines or technological devices to help produce better and more beautiful artworks, for example acoustic musical instruments have now developed with the advent of electric musical instruments and digital music. In fine arts, there are now computer and printer devices that support making illustration and animation images. In drawing activities such as making ellipses or ovals since it has always been difficult to do manually, we are interested in developing a drawing machine that can make ellipses, besides drawing straight lines and circles. This elliptical drawing engine technology will certainly make it easier for artists to draw certain shapes or shapes, especially the oval ones.
preliminary
This elliptical drawing machine originally used a crankshaft mechanism, which is a motor that moves two mechanisms at the same time, a rotating mechanism as the main motion and a slider mechanism that moves straight back and forth, this mechanism is usually used to draw elliptical shapes, but because it uses one motor, it is rather difficult to regulate synchronization movement, apart from that there are difficulties in adjusting the starting position and the final position of the slider motion containing the drawing tool. Then there is a refinement effort, the second generation appears, namely an elliptical drawing machine that uses two separate motors, one moves the main rotating motion, one motor to move the slider, thus controlling the speed, position and direction of the motor suction is more easily regulated, with this mechanism the drawing machine besides being able to draw oval shapes, it can also be straight lines and circles, so this machine is more flexible.
Closing
This elliptical drawing machine is certainly still not perfect, first, in terms of structure or framework, that is, the pedestal should use a rod rather than a bearing, so it does not reduce the capacitance of the slider range. Then, the design of the speed ratio control between the two motors has not been synchronized, meaning that there is a need to establish a 1: 2 rotational speed ratio between the main motor and the slider motor so that the movement of the tool when operating is smoother and the image size is more accurate. In the future, the third generation, it is expected that Elliptic drawing machines can be produced more perfect and flexible.
