       Corona virus or better known as COVID-19 allegedly originated from the Huanan Animal Market in Wuhan which sells various types of animal meat including those that are not commonly consumed, such as snakes, bats, and various other types. Corona virus or COVID-19 is thought to be carried by bats and other types of animals that are consumed by humans which eventually occurs between humans.

       So, until now COVID-19 transmission has occurred massively and almost spread to all countries in the world and paralyzed the joints of human life. No exception in Indonesia, where global economic life is disrupted and causes loss of community work, poverty, and the difficulty of people to simply meet their daily needs. In addition, community activities are severely restricted to prevent further spread of COVID-19.

       The island of Bali, which has a large portion of its income and economic turnover that relies on tourism, with the spread of COVD-19 is also very impacted by all the people on this island. Many people lost their jobs due to layoffs, were laid off, businesses began to close, and so on. Of course this is very alarming and very sad. Including many tourism destinations that are closed and all sectors related to tourism are also almost closed.

       After almost 3 months had passed there was a glimmer of new hope that arose after various efforts carried out by all components of the nation in deciding the spread of COVID-19, which began to enter a new era after the Pandemic COVID-19 known as "New Normal". Although the potential transmission of COVID-19 is still vulnerable in the midst of a pandemic that has not yet completely ended, we must begin to make peace with COVID-19 because the joints of the economy must begin to be raised again from adversity by starting slowly but surely by starting to open the sector economic sectors including the tourism sector in stages and still must follow the Health Protocol in a disciplined manner.

       Rural tourism is a tourist attraction that has the opportunity to be opened slowly to be able to receive limited tourist visits with strict rules while still paying attention to the Health Protocol to face the New Normal era of Tourism in the rural tourism. This, aims to provide a sense of security and can still maintain health and prevent transmission of COVID-19. For this reason, a good Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is needed so that it can become a guide and guide for Rural Tourism Managers, visitors / tourists, and other stakeholders to start running New Normal Tourism in tourism activities in rural tourism. Some Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) towards New Normal Tourism in the rural tourism as follows:
1. Equipped with a Body Temperature Check, Mask, Hand Washing Place
    When visitors / tourists come to a rural tourism, at the first place of arrival a body temperature check is immediately carried out, washing hands with soap or with a hands sanitizer then directly using a mask, and of course still set to stay within a safe distance.
2. Tourists Given Provision
    Before carrying out tourist activities in the rural tourism, the visitors / tourists will be given provisions and information relating to facilities that will be used in tourism activities, such as: wearing masks, keeping a safe distance, limiting the number of people in each tourist activity, indicating washing places hands that have been prepared, following the signs that have been prepared, and so on related.
 
3. Arrangements in Tourism Activities
    In carrying out tourism activities in the rural tourism, such as: trekking, cycling, cooking activities, or other group activities, the number of participants will be limited to between 5-10 people and the distance from the first activity to the next activity in one activity will be given the distance between 10-15 minutes. In the rural tourism activities there are elements of body movement, such as: cycling, trekking will be arranged every 15 minutes to stop to open the mask and after that continue again and so on. Also in tourist activities, tourists will be provided with special drinks and snacks for themselves and can not be transferred to prevent transmission of the virus.
 
4. Using Local Wisdom, Like: Loloh, Boreh, Traditional Potions
    A lot of local wisdom from the village community that serves to maintain a healthy body and maintain stamina and preserve immunity by using traditional ingredients found in the village, such as: loloh, boreh, lemongrass herbs, ginger coffee, etc., so these products can also be offered to visitors / tourists.
5. In collaboration with the Health Institution
    The collaboration in question is in providing health understanding to Rural Tourism Managers and Pokdarwis in preparing standard tools to support the Health Protocol, understanding of CHS and PHBS, as well as checking regularly once a week or once a month in relation to the implementation of the Health Protocol.
6. Installation of Appeals / Appeal Posters at Strategic Places
    Installing appeal boards or appeal posters in strategic places or in places that will be traversed by visitors / tourists in carrying out tourist activities in the rural tourism.
7. Installation of Traffic Signs of Tourist Activities
     In order to regulate tourist traffic in carrying out tourism activities in the rural tourism and to prevent crowds or meeting at one place or one point, a tourist traffic sign is installed to regulate tourist movements, so that the distance can be maintained and to avoid meetings or crowds of tourist activities.
8. Handling / Mitigation Process If There Are Positive Indications
    Remain vigilant if there are visitors or tourists who are indicated to be reactive / positive COVID-19, so that the handling process and its mitigation process are clear to be safe for the community in the village and immediately handled by competent / authorized parties.
9. Must prepare new normal SOP starting from the moment of promotion
    New Normal SOP for rural tourism so that they have been submitted to tourists starting when the initial promotion, either through brochures, online media, or promotion directly when meeting with tourists. This is intended so that tourists from the beginning already know the SOP and see the seriousness of the tourist village to run this New Normal properly.
10. Prepared Standardization and Certification Towards New Normal
      Related parties, especially the Tourism Office, are able to prepare standardization and certification for rural tourism in implementing New Normal Tourism because this will have a positive impact on the entire community in the rural tourism because it will indirectly be controlled and accustomed to living clean, healthy lives, and safe living, including the preparation of facilities that support that goal.
11. Always spray disinfectants and clean tools / objects that are often held / touched
      In each tourist activity the officer immediately conducts spraying or cleaning of objects or tools that are often held or touched, so that they are always safe to use and after they are used are also placed in a safe and permanent place so that the tools / objects are always guaranteed to be sterile from the spread of COVID -19.
       By paying attention to the points in the SOP it is expected and ensured that the rural tourism is safe for tourists to visit even though the pandemic is not 100% complete, so that tourism activities in the rural tourism can still be carried out safely and the economy of the community in the rural tourism will slowly grow and rise again. while accustoming people to always live healthy and always think positive.
