Let Get to Know The Shade Tree Species Around Us

                Learning about environments around us, indirectly will have a positive impact on environmental sustainability, because a deep sense of love will create a great desire to protect it. Learning can be started from a small and simple, for example, recognize plants that grow around us. Among these plants, there are so-called shade plants, i.e. plants which are planted with the aim to protect or shade people or objects that are under or around them from the sun, wind or rain.

                This book contains a complete but brief discussion of the shade plants that grow around us. The discussion covers aspects of botany, cultivation and usability of these plants. The discussion is limited to only a few species of dominant species found on the edges of the road or in the park (park). Fruit plants are not included in the discussion of this book although their presence provides shade for the surrounding environment, because the main purpose of planting is not for shade plants, but for fruit consumption. The contents of this book are the results of the author's survey of shade plants that grow in the city of Denpasar and Badung Regency (Bali)
