Abstrak
One of the Orchidaceae species is the Vanda tricolor Lindley var. suavis. This
species was first described by John Lindley in 1847. Besides suavis varietiey,
there are other varieties, namely patersonii, purpurea, and palida. But in
Indonesia, the most common type is suavis variety. This variety is an orchid
species native to Indonesia which is spread in several regions in Indonesia,
such as Bali, East Java, Central Java and West Java.
This
book discusses in detail about the V.tricolor
var suavis orchid species, in terms of botany, seed sowing, cultivation and
contain the results of research done by the author on this orchid species for
approximately four years. It is hoped that this book can be useful for orchid
researchers and can enrich libraries in the field of orchidology.
