Regional Potential Mapping and Development of Agricultural Commodities in Gianyar Regency. This book gives a comprehensive description of the potential of the Gianyar Regency based on local pedo-agro-climate conditions. In summary, this book contains some important information related to (1) conditions, problems and potential of existing agricultural commodities that have been, are being and will be developed in Gianyar Regency; (2) map of existing land use in Gianyar Regency on a semi-detailed level; (3) a map of soil fertility status in Gianyar Regency on a semi-detailed level; (4) suitability maps for priority commodities for food crops, horticulture, plantations and forestry in Gianyar Regency; (5) maps of zoning of food crops and horticulture, plantations, forestry, animal husbandry, fisheries at a semi-detailed level; (6) evaluation of land or land management technology, and technology for agricultural commodity cultivation in each district area in Gianyar Regency; (7) direction of use of agricultural land in accordance with the potential and limiting factors identified in Gianyar Regency. This information is very useful in planning the development of the agricultural sector. In addition, a geographic information system-based database that is prepared in stages will provide information that is not only useful for the agricultural sector but also other related stakeholders, thus enabling cross-sectoral synergies with aspects of agriculture.
