Biografi
Mirah is currently teaching at Department of Political Studies, Universitas Udayana. Her area of interest are on civil society and social development. She took a master degree on Social Policy and Development: NGOs at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) with Indonesia Presidential Scholarship.
She has been researching on child policy since she lived in Bali. Her vision is to see an inclusive early childhood education as a global priority. She finds that there is still a gap to bring an equal opportunity for every child to access early childhood education, both in formal and non-formal ways. She believes that investing in the child’s development is very important to maximize their future wellbeing and to boost the progress of the nation.
In 2017, she founded Rumah Ramah Batita, a nonprofit children’s center in her home village, Karangasem, Bali. Then, she involved in digital startup ecosystem in Bali, by running Chilminder.id. On her spare time, she most likely spends her days with the family. They enjoy going to the beach, park, and museum.
