I Made Susila Utama, born on June 21, 1969 in Dalung Badung, Bali. He took general medical education at the Udayana University School of Medicine and graduated in 1994. Then continued his Internal Medicine Specialist Education at the Udayana University School of Medicine and graduated in 2004. He received a Consultant Degree in Tropical Disease and Infections since 2011 and is currently attended doctoral education with a major in Biomedical Medicine at Udayana University.

Currently he is one of the Staff of the Division of Tropical Diseases and Infection, Internal Medicine Department, FK UNUD / Sanglah Hospital Denpasar. In addition, he is also Lecturer in the Tropical and Infection Block and the Travel Medicine Special Topic Block at FK UNUD. He is often involved in various scientific activities both as  committee and speaker in international, national and regional medical seminars. He is also an author in several international or national scientific journals in the field of Tropics and Infection, and is often involved in various local or multicenter research in his field.
