Biografi
dr. I Gusti Putu Suka Aryana, Sp. PD, K-Ger,
FINASIM was born in Tabanan (Bali Province, Indonesia), March 29, 1971.
Completed his medical studies at Udayana University in 1997. A specialist
degree in internal medicine was awarded in 2005 at Udayana University.
Subsequently completed a geriatric consultant education in 2009. In addition,
in 2002 he joined visiting research fellow in Kobe Japan and geriatric
emergency cource in Singapore in 2010. Several national and international
awards ever received such as Nominator the Best Young Investigator Award AFES
2003 in Singapore, Nominator the Best Young Investigator Award AFES 2005 in
Manila, The Best Mustafa-Varon Award for the Best Free Paper On shock and
Critical Care 2005, The Best Young Investigator Award ASMIHA 2005 in Surabaya,
and The best Scientific Free paper Geriatric Scientific Meeting 2009 in Jakarta.
Currently in charge of Geriatric Internal
Medicine Division, Sanglah Teaching Hospital. In addition, he served as the
Chairman of Accreditation and Standardization, College of Internal Medicine and
Chairman of the education coordinating committee in the faculty of medicine
Udayana University. Active in instructure of some medical training:
perioperative, emergency in internal medicine, clinical emergency skill, soft
skill, and clinical teacher training. Interested in the field of geriatrics,
aging, internal medicine and sarcopenia. Active writing of published scientific
articles such as the Internal Medicine Handbook, Role of Interleukin-15 in
Sarcopenia: Future New Target Therapy, Epidemiology Study of Metabolic Syndrome
in Rural Population, Histology and Biologic Characteristics of Breast Cancer in
