I Made Gede Widnyana was born in Bangli on February 1, 1972, graduated with a doctorate degree in 1997 at Udayana University, went on to study at the Anesthesiology specialist medical program at Padjadjaran University and graduated in 2006, in 2007 he graduated with a Masters degree in health graduating from education at Padjadjaran University. Attended Regional Anesthesia education and training at RSUPN Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM) in 2010. Doctoral education with a Doctorate degree was obtained at Udayana University in 2020.

He actively teaches, guides and tests students of Bachelor of Medicine, Medical Profession, Specialist Education Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

In addition to teaching, he is active in community service activities and various Scientific Meetings related to the field of anesthesiology. In addition, he is very active in research, scientific publications in the form of books or scientific journals of national and international standard.
