I was born in Karangasem on April 20, 1956. Graduated from elementary school in Denpasar in 1968. Graduated from junior high in Denpasar in 1971. Graduated from high school in Denpasar in 1974. Studied at the Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University and graduated as a doctor in 1981. Continue serving in the large Sumbawa district until 1989.

Continuing to study ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University in 1994. And now I’am is staf in Ophthalmology Departement at  Sanglah Central General Hospital and became a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University until now

My academic activities departed from the 2001 plastic surgery and reconstruction fellowship at the Jakarta Eye center. Began to be asked to prepare to form an Ophthalmologist Study Program. In 2008, the Opthalmologist Study Program was formed and accredited C, I was chairman of the study program and accredited 3 years later with B grade in 2011. The educational journey is getting smoother now the number of specialist medical education participants is starting to grow. Scientific activities are also developing that many have the opportunity to go abroad both seminars and short courses.

In 2016, the Ophthalmologist Study Program was accredited again and received an A rating, our staf member increased, member of specialist medical education participants increased. In 2017 I’am finish serving the position of Chair of the Study Program after a long term of duty.

It's time for the young counselors to come forward. Dr.dr. Mas Putrawati Triningrat, SpM (K) replaced me. I am back to studying in my division until now, as a lecturer and Ophthalmologist at Sanglah Hospital until now.
