Dr. dr. I Nyoman Putu Riasa, SpBP-RE(K) was born at Karangasem, 25 Desember 1968, graduated from elementary school (1980) and junior high school (1983) at Sibetan Karangasem, graduated on senior high school at SMAK Swastiastu Denpasar (1986), medical doctor graduation at Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (1993), Plastic Surgery Education and Training (Specialist) at Faculty of Medicine,  Indonesia University (2002), post-graduate fellowship program at Showa University Tokyo, Japan (2001), Consultan Brevet (K) from Indonesian Colleague of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon (2011), Doctoral (PhD) at Post-graduate Program Udayana University (2014). LEMHANAS RI Course (Pemantapan Nilai-Nilai Kebangsaan Bagi Kalangan Konsil Kedokteran Indonesia, Angkatan I LEMHANAS RI 2014). 

Work for goverment as a doctor/head of remote public health unit at  Puskesmas Lapai, Pakue, Sulawesi Tenggara (1993-1996) and work as primary doctor at Ciptomangunkusumo Hospital Jakarta (1997-2002). At  Sanglah General Hospital Denpasar work as Burn Unit Service Coordinator  (SK Dirut: HK0066A10.6501a) and task force of services and development on Burn, Microsurgery and Oncoplasty  (ST No:09/BDH PLASTIK/VII/2005). As the head of Plastic Surgery Division of Faculty of Medicine Udayana University/Sanglah Hospital  (2006-2017). 

Since Februari 20th, 2003 became the staff of Surgery Department Faculty of Medicine Udayana University/Sanglah Hospital, and as lecturer from November 10th, 2004 at Faculty of Medicine Udayana University. Teaching the moduls of Burn Injury, Trauma in Plastic Surgery and Wound Healing at Program Studi Ilmu Bedah and clinical teaching for medical student (Co-Assistant) and  resident of sugery. As lecturer at  Physiotherapi Education Program on the modul of Physiotherapi in Plastic Surgery. As lecturer at Dental Education Program  Faculty of Medicine Udayana University on the modul of  Medicallly Compromised Disease (MCD): Burn, and Haemorrhagic Shock. As visiting lecturer at Dental Faculty of  Mahasaraswati University Denpasar on the modul: Head and Neck Infection, and Maxillofacial Trauma.  

Initiate the establishment and founder of Plastic Surgery Education Program at Faculty of Medicine Udayana University (SK Pendirian: Nomor 90/KPT/I/2016) and as acting head of the Plastic Surgery Education Program, April 13th  2016 - January 18th, 2018). Initiate the preliminary Consultant Education of Indonesian Colleague of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon at Sanglah Hospital Denpasar (2015-2017) for Burns and Reconstructive Microsurgery. 

As the member of Indonesian Colleague of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon since 2009 until now, Curriculum Commision  (2012-2018), Accreditation and Development of New Study Program (2018- now)

As National Examainer Board in Plastic Surgery Education for Plastic Surgery Resident  (2013- now) As National Examainer Board in General Surgery Education for Surgery Resident  (2016- now).

As non-regular examiner on Stage II Desertation Examination(Open Exam) Doctorate Education Program (PhD) Udayana University,  2017
