I Gede Budiarta was born in Tabanan on January 14, 1964, graduated from the medical undergraduate program in 1989 at Udayana University, went on to study in the specialist Anesthesiology doctor's education program at the University of Indonesia and graduated in 2003. A Pain Management Consultant Degree in 2010 was obtained from the Anesthesiology and College Indonesian Reanimation.

He is active in teaching, guiding and testing Bachelor of Medicine students, the Medical Profession and the Specialist Education Program.

Besides teaching, he is active in community service activities as well as research and publication of books or scientific journals.
