I Ketut Agus Somia, born on July 1, 1968 in Denpasar, Bali. He took general medical education at the Udayana University School of Medicine and graduated in 1994. Continued his Internal Medicine Specialist Education at the Udayana University School of Medicine and graduated in 2005. Then he obtained a degree as Consultant for Tropical and Infectious Diseases since 2009 and completed Education Doctor of Biomedical Medicine at Udayana University in 2017.

Currently he is the Staff of the Division of Tropical and Infectious Diseases, Department / KSM of Internal Medicine, FK UNUD / Sanglah Hospital and also works as Lecturer in the Tropical and Infection Block Lecture and Special Medicine Travel Topic Block at FK UNUD. He is often involved in various scientific activities such as being a speaker at international, national and regional seminars. In addition, he is also the author of several international journals related to infectious diseases and travel medicine and is often involved in various kinds of research both local and multicenter related to his field.
