Dr.dr. I Nyoman Astika, Sp. PD, K-Ger born in Denpasar, February 2, 1965. Completed his general practitioners studies at Udayana University in 1990. A specialist degree in medicine was awarded in 2003 at Udayana University. He then completed his geriatric consultant education in 2009. Currently he is working in the Geriatric Division, Dept. of KSM Internal Medicine FK Unud / Sanglah Hospital. Interested in geriatrics, aging, internal medicine and sarcopenia. Writing scientific articles and published books such as Aging and Sarcopenia and Low plasma levels of IGF 1 and IL 1RA with high plasma levels of IFN as prognostic factors for mortality in hospitalized geriatric patients with delirium.
