Wira Gotera, born on October 20, 1963 in Tabanan, Bali. He attended general medical education at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia and graduated in 1988. Continued Education in Specialists in Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia and graduated in 1996. Then he obtained a degree as Consultant for Endocrine & Metabolism since 2008 and completed Education Doctor with a major in Biomedical Medicine at Udayana University in 2015.

Currently he is the Staff of the Endocrine & Metabolism Division, Department / KSM of Internal Medicine, FK UNUD / Sanglah Hospital and also works as Lecturer in Endocrine & Metabolic Disorder Block at FK UNUD. He is often involved in various scientific activities such as being a speaker at international, national and regional seminars. In addition, he is also the author of several international journals related to Endocrinology & Metabolism and is often involved in various kinds of research both local and multicenter related to his field.
