I Nyoman Widya Paramadhyaksa was born in Denpasar, Bali 1974, as the third son of an Archaeology lecturer. His undergraduate in architecture was taken 1992 to 1998 at Udayana University, Bali. Then, obtained a master of architecture degree from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta in 2001 and a Ph.D degree of architecture and design from Kyoto Institute Technology, Japan in 2009. Now, he is working as a lecturer at department of Architecture Udayana University. Some of his fields of interests are: Hinduism and Buddhism Architecture; Traditional Balinese architecture; ancient architecture; culture; and art.
