Biografi

Gusti Ayu Made Suartika is a professor at the Department of Architecture, Planning & Development, Udayana University Bali. Her Masters and Doctoral Degrees are from University of New South Wales Sydney-Australia. Her research focuses on planning and development for developing countries, an interest reflected in her publications. Her last books are Morphing Bali: the State, Planning and Culture (2010) ; Vernacular Transformations: Architecture, Place, and Tradition (2013); and Reframing the Vernacular: Politics, Semiotics, and Representation (2020).
