Biografi

Ni Ketut Agusintadewi has been a senior lecturer in the Architecture Study Program at Universitas Udayana since 1997. Finished her school years in Mataram, Lombok, during 1978-1990 and was awarded the Bachelor Degree of Architecture (or Sarjana Teknik, ST) from the Architecture Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Udayana in 1990. Working as a Quantity Surveyor Assistant at the Bali Nirwana Resort Project, Tanah Lot, Tabanan, in 1996 was her first professional career. In 1997 moved to Hyundai Engineering and Construction as a Design Section Staff in Kuta Hard Rock Hotel Project. During 2001-2008, actively worked with the city and regional planning consultants that carried out Tracer and LARAP Studies on World Bank projects in Bali, urban and coastal spatial studies, and relevant projects.

 

Graduated from the School of Architecture, Planning and Policy Development in Institut Teknologi Bandung (SAPPK ITB) and funded by Beasiswa Pendidikan Pascasarjana (BPPS) and obtained Master's Degree (or Magister Teknik, MT) in 2000. Attended the International Short Course on Integrated Coastal Zone Management at the UNESCO-IHE in Delft, the Netherlands, in 2007 and sponsored by the Netherlands Fellowship Programme. Awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (or PhD) from the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape, the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, the United Kingdom, in 2015, funded by the Dikti-LN Scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Culture, Republic of Indonesia.

 

Registered as an ABRA member (Association of Behavioural Researchers on Asians/Africans), HERA (Housing Education and Research Association), Indonesian Built Environment Researchers, and Indonesian Lecturers Association. Her concern is architectural education and research on housing and human settlements, built environment, and environment-behavioural studies. Since 2017, has been involved in the Tropical Engineering International Program at her alma mater. Has been a co-promotor and an internal examiner in the Doctoral Program of Engineering Science (or PDIT) since 2017. Being a reviewer in some journals is her external academic activity. Since 2022 has also been assigned being the Coordinator of the Master's Program in Architecture at the same faculty.
