Biografi

Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering (Architecture Study Program) of Udayana University born September 26, 1958 in Denpasar, Bali. Elementary to high school education was completed in Denpasar (1966 - 1977). The Bachelor of Architecture Engineering Education was completed in the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University in 1978 - 1985 and in February 1987 was appointed as a permanent lecturer in the Architecture Study Program. In 1997 until 2000, he received a BPPS Dikti scholarship to continue his studies at the ITS Postgraduate Program (Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November) in Surabaya with the expertise in Urban Design, with a research / thesis focus on the street picture facade. Since 2000, he has been active in giving lectures in the Architecture Study Program (S1) in courses: Drawing Engineering, Drawing Architecture 1, Drawing Architecture 2, Architecture Design Studio 2, Architecture Design Studio 3, and Basics of Urban Design. In 2009 - 2013, he had the opportunity to be a lecturer in the teaching team of the Master of Architecture (S2) FT. Unud, in the courses in Conservation Management, Aesthetics and Ethnic Arts, Landscape Architecture, and Theory and Practice of Urban Planning courses. In 2014 - 2018 was appointed as Head of the City Design Laboratory. Research activities focus on traditional Balinese architecture, urban architecture and tourist areas; as well as attending seminars / workshops in the academic environment, also actively conducting community service in the socio-cultural and environmental fields.
