I Made Suarya was born in Yeh Embang Village, Jembrana Regency, Bali in 1956. He received his bachelor title in Architecture in 1985 at Udayana University, Bali. He obtained a master of architecture degree from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November, Surabaya in 2002. Now, he is a lecturer at department of Architecture Udayana University. His fields of interests are Housing, Architecture design, Traditional Balinese architecture and culture.
