Professor in structural engineering at department Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University of Bali since 1987. Bachelor degree: Civil Engineering - Teknik Sipil JTS FT UNUD (1986), MSCE (1994) and Ph.D. (2000) at CEE - MSU MI. USA. Beside teaching, also active in construction project with professional certificate on Building Structure issued by LPJKN and HAKI. Served as department chairman for  period of 2003-2007, as chief of Structure Laboratory in 2012- 2016, as team member of Building Expert for Badung regency for period of 2014-2016 and served as chief of HAKI Komda Bali for period of 2009-2013 and 2013-2017. Involve in The Training Program on Steel Construction for Indonesia in Tokyo, Jan. 28 -Feb. 5 2016. Currently active in teaching and supervising undergraduate and master program students in civil engineering. Member of Academic Senate of Faculty of Engineering, serve as Structural Expert Panel in ITDC and active as structural consultant for private projects.

Research Interest: Infilled Frame, Confined Masonry and other subjects related to Seismic Retrofitting and Structural Modeling. Currently working on finite element modeling of Infilled Frame with Confined Wall Opening, Confined Masonry Structures, 3-sided RC culvert and box culvert.
