Born in Carangsari Village, Petang District, Badung Regency, Bali Province. State Elementary School 1, Carangsari Village, in 1963.

The First Economy Secondary School (Denpasar) in Denpasar in 1969, and the Higher Secondary Economy Secondary School (SMEA) in Denpasar ended 1974.

Continuing studies at the Faculty of Economics, Udayana University, Denpasar. While studying, he worked at the Udayana University Rectorate Office from 1980 to 1985. Then graduated from S1 in 1981. After that he moved to become a lecturer (lecturer) at the Faculty of Economics, Udayana University in 1985.

Married in 1984 with Ni Luh Putu Tirtayadi, S. Sos. and have two children; the first child was named Putu Nugrahini Widiyadnya, ST, and the second number was Made Made Santana Putra Adiyadnya, SE., M.Si.

Further studies were carried out at the Faculty of Economics, Udayana University in the postgraduate program (master of management) in 2001 and graduated in 2003 with the title of Master of Management (MM).
