Biografi

Ir. I Gusti Ngurah Putra Dirgayusa, MT, was born in Badung, Bali, Indonesia at 22 October 1960. He finished high school in Denpasar and continued his study in 1980 at Faculty of Engineering Udayana University, Bali, majoring in Civil Engineering, and finished in 1986. After graduating, he worked as a staff at Civil Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering Udayana University. In 1995 until 1998, he studied at Postgraduate Program in Gajah Mada University and got a degree in Master of Engineering. He continued teaching in Civil Engineering Study Program in Udayana University. He had been teaching many subjects, such as Steel Construction I, Steel Construction II, Advanced Steel Construction, Mathematic I, Mathematic II, Concrete Construction I, Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulic, Drawing Technic, Coastal Engineering, Coastal Building Planning, and Harbor. He was also assigned to teach Mathematic I, Concrete Construction, and Wood Construction in Architecture Study Program, Faculty of Engineering Udayana University and Building Statistic in PSSRD Udayana University.

In 2012, he was assigned to the Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries Udayana University, which was just formed in 2011, to teach subjects such as Basics of Management, Enterpreneurship, Philosopy of Science, Marine Survey Instrumentation, Coastal Processes, Coastal Oceanography, Introduction to Oceanography, Coastal and Marine Disaster Mitigation, Methods and Analysis of Marine Surveys, Coastal and Marine Environmental Management, and Marine Ecotourism. Besides that, he also served as the Chairperson of the Hydrology and Hydraulic Laboratorium of Civil Engineering Study Program Udayana University from 1999 tp 2007. He has been serving as the Chairperson of the Learning and Quality Assurance Development Unit (UP3M) in Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries Udayana University from 2012 to present.
