My name is I Dewa Putu Singarsa. I was born on September 18, 1978 in Kareangasem. My parents named I Dewa Ketut Giri and Desak Putu Putri. I am the fifth child of six siblings.
After entering elementary school I lived with my aunt in Denpasar and attended elementary school 29 Pemecutan. I continued my junior high school education at SMP PGRI 10 Badung. Then I joined my family in Klungkung and continued my high school at Semarapura High School. I continued my higher education at Udayana University in 1997 by taking the Study Program on Pest and Plant Disease, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. During my studies I was quite active at FPMHD Udayana University (Hindu Dharma Student Brotherhood Forum) and served as coordinator in the period 1998/2000. I completed my bachelor's degree in 2002 and continued my Masters in Agricultural Biotechnology in Udayana University in 2003 and graduated in 2006. In 2008 I was appointed became a Lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture until now.
