Biografi

I Wayan Nuarsa was born in Gunaksa Village, Klungkung Bali, on October 20, 1968. After completing his high school education in Klungkung in 1987, he continued his studies at the Department of Land, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, and graduated in 1992. While studying, he had a chance to get scholarship allowance service bond (TID). Because of this scholarship he was finally able to be appointed as a Lecturer in the institution where he studied in 1993. Three years after being appointed, he continued his Masters at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta in 1996, in the field of remote sensing and GIS, and finished in 1998 with the title Cum Laude . His doctoral degree began again in 2008 in the Agricultural Science Doctoral Program, Postgraduate Program, Udayana University. This program was only briefly followed for one semester, before finally he continued his studies at the Center for Environmental Remote Sensing (CEReS), Chiba University, Japan in 2009, with a scholarship from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and was completed in 2012.
