My full name is Dr. Ir I Wayan Diara, M.S., was born in Banjar Manuk, Susut Village, Susut District, Bangli Regency, on December 31, 1959.

I completed primary school education in 1973, junior high school in 1976 and senior high school in 1980. I completed my college education in 1985 at the Department of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University in Denpasar. Then in 1986 I was accepted as a lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. After working for 2 years, I took my master's education in 1988 at the Gadjah Mada University Postgraduate Program and completed in 1991. In 2015 I completed my Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences, Water Resources and Land Management Concentration.

Since 1986 I was accepted as a lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. During my duties as a lecturer, I was active in carrying out the duties of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Teaching, Research and Community Service). In my teaching field I teach several courses, including the Basics of Soil Science, Soil Physics, Hydrology, Soil Management, Watershed Management, Environmental Impact Analysis and Strategic Environmental Studies. My research is more about the physics and conservation of land and water, while in the field of dedication more in the form of providing enlightenment to the public about agriculture. I achieved the certificate as an educator (lecturer certification) in 2009. Since then I am entitled to receive a lecturer certification allowance (serdos).

In addition to teaching, I also take part in various trainings to improve my ability in the field of environmental science. Some of the training that has been followed include the Basics of Analiasis Regarding Environmental Impacts (Amdal Type A) in 1992, the Compilation of Analiasis Concerning Environmental Impacts (Amdal Type B) and Assessment Analiasis Concerning Environmental Impacts (Amdal Type C) which were both conducted in 2002. Then in 2011 I took the Competency Examination as the Head of the Amdal Compilation Team and successfully graduated. Since graduating as a holder of Competency Certificate as Chair of the EIA Compilation Team, which is valid for a period of 3 years. For the extension of the certificate, every three years a retest is carried out and until now it has successfully passed each exam, so that it has the right to carry out the work of drafting EIA documents. Since 1996 until now I have been active in the preparation of environmental documents both EIA and Environmental Management and Environmental Monitoring Efforts (UKL-UPL).

During my time as a lecturer I was trusted to hold the position of Chair of the Physics and Soil Conservation Laboratory from 2011 to 2019. As Vice Dean for Student Affairs for 2 periods, namely the period 2003 - 2007 and 2019 - 2023.

I married in 1987 with Ni Wayan Janten, S.Pd.AUD., And was blessed with three children, a female and two sons. The first child named Ni Luh Putu Eka Yunita was born on December 10, 1987; the second child named I Made Hadi Yudana was born on July 8, 1991; and the third child named I Komang Tri Yudharta Widnyana was born on April 27, 1997.

Since I was born I lived in Susut Village, Susut District, Bangli Regency. In 1980 I moved to Denpasar and currently live on Jalan Siulan Housing No. Sekar Gunung No. 6x Penatih Dangin Puri Village, East Denpasar District, Denpasar City.
