Dr. I Wayan Supartha has a PhD in Agricultural Entomology and has extensive teaching and research experience in the disciplines of Entomology and Plant Protection, Integrated Pest Management, Organic Agriculture Systems. While working with the research team, he gained international research experience with ACIAR Australia, and received Research Management Training from ACIAR -Australia and was able to attend various international meetings abroad. He has been an International Advisor and Consultant in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries of the Republic of Timor Leste for 5 years, and now active as a Development Expert Group in the Agriculture and Food Sector of the Province of Bali and also in Gianyar Regency. Currently many partners are collaborating research in the field of Integrated Pest Management, Field Testing of active ingredient of pesticides, Advocacy and Consulting in Agriculture and Food. He is on the Editorial Board in several national journals and peer reviewers of International Journals in his field. He has six books, and more than 50 research articles published in reputable national and international journals that make him stand out in his field. He is still actively teaching and guiding thesis (undergraduate). Until now he has graduated more than 25 masters and 7 Doctorates (Ph.D) in the field of Plant Protection and Agricultural Sciences. Currently, he works as a Professor (Plant Pest) at the Faculty of Agriculture - Udayana University, Bali - Indonesia
