I was born in Pesangkan Village, Selat Subdistrict, Karangasem Regency, Bali Province on July 3, 1956, elementary school education was completed in 1969, junior high school in 1972, high school in 1975. Studying at the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University Denpasar began in 1976, Bachelor of Agriculture (BSc.) in 1980, Bachelor (engineer) of Agriculture (Ir.) 1984. Master of Science (MSi.) Masters in Agricultural Biotechnology  Udayana University Denpasar   in 2006 and Doctor (Dr.) of Udayana University, Faculty of Agriculture Doctor of Agriculture Science Study Program with a concentration in Management of Biological Resources in 2019. Worked as a lecturer /lecturer in the Agricultural Agroecotechnology Study Program, Biotechnology Concentration in Agriculture, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University starting on the 1st January 1986 until now. Chair of the Agricultural Biotechnology Laboratory since 2017 until now. Subjects currently supported are the Basics of Agricultural Biotechnology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Genetic Engineering, Microbial Biotechnology, Introduction to Molecular Biology, Molecular Pathology of Pests and Diseases, Molecular Interactions of Plant Microbes and Journal Review. The research experience is the Rice Stunt Virus, several types of Soybean Viruses, and then focuses the research on CVPD (Citrus Vein Phloem Degeneration) Disease on citrus plants and waste-degrading microbes especially cellulolittic enzyme-producing bacteria.
