Prof.Dr.Ir.Made Antara, MS, born in Singaraja, December 25, 1954, now teaches in the Department of Socio Economics of  Agriculture (now Study Program of Agribusiness) at Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. His position is now as a Professor. His education began Primary school  at Bengkel Village-Buleleng-Bali (1961-1966), Junior high school-1 at Denpasar (1966-1969) and Senior high school-2 at Denpasar (1970-1972). He pursued higher education at the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University (1974-1980). Continuing postgraduate education at the University of Gajah Mada (1982-1984) and at IPB (now IPB University) for S-3 (1994-1999) in the field of Agricultural / Agribusiness Economics. In PS.Agribusiness teaches economics (micro, macro, regional), Socio-Economic Research Methodology and quantitative methods (Econometrics, Operations Research). Also teaches and guides in the Tourism Master's Study Program, the Doctoral Study Program in Tourism, the Environmental Science Study Program, and the Doctoral Program in Cultural Studies, Udayana University's Postgraduate Program. The author has done a lot of research in the field of tourism, both funded by High Education (Dikti) such as the MP3EI Scheme, and funded by the Ministry of Tourism and Private Sector. During his time as a lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, the author has published several books for internal campus interests. In addition to writing scattered in a number of national and international scientific journals, the author is also diligent as a speaker and writes papers in various seminars.
