Biografi
I Dewa Made Bayu Atmaja Darmawan (Dewa Bayu) pursued his higher education in Computer Science and Engineering with consistently outstanding achievements, all completed with Cum Laude honors. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Udayana University (2010), his Master’s degree in Computer Science from Gadjah Mada University (2012), and his Doctorate in Engineering from Udayana University (2025).
His academic career began in December 2012 when he joined the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, as a lecturer. Since then, he has been actively teaching, conducting research, and developing innovations in the field of multimedia systems, with a primary focus on the application of artificial intelligence in multimedia data processing. Over the past five years, his research has encompassed image processing, pattern recognition, and deep learning–based translation systems. He also maintains an academic interest in multimedia data transmission over computer networks.
Beyond the technical domain, Dewa Bayu is particularly interested in cultural preservation through computational approaches, leveraging technology to document, analyze, and revitalize cultural heritage, with a strong emphasis on Balinese arts and traditions.
