Dr. I Nengah Simpen, M.Sc, born in Karangasem 2 August 1960. Elementary School Education (1968-1973), Junior High School (1974-1976) and Senior High School (1977-1980) in Karangasem. Bachelor of Physics Education was obtained at Udayana University (1980-1985). Through the Pre Masters Program (Matriculation) at the Bandung Institute of Technology / ITB (1989-1990) successfully entered the Masters / Masters Program (1990-1993) at the Bandung Institute of Technology / ITB. Doctoral / Doctoral Program (2012-2016) completed at Udayana University. The Engineer (Ir.) In Earth and Energy was obtained in 2020 in the Professional Engineer Program at Udayana University. In 1987-2001 as a Physics Lecturer at Malang State University. In 2001-present as a lecturer at Udayana University. Active as a lecturer in the Physics Study Program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University and also teaches in the Civil Engineering Study Program and the Environmental Engineering Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University. Subjects taught in Basic Physics, Geoelectric, Engineering Geology, and Groundwater. Currently registered as a member of the Indonesian Physics Association (HFI) and the Indonesian Association of Groundwater Experts (PAAI).
