Irdhawati was born in Sungguminasa Makassar South Sulawesi Indonesia on January 1st. She graduated from kirder garten in TK Aisyiah Muhammadiyah Limbung, elementary school in SDN Limbung Puteri; junior high school in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah Limbung; senior high school in Pharmacy Scholl; undergraduate in Chemistry, Hasanuddin University; Master and Doctor Degree in Chemistry, Institut Teknologi Bandung. She has been a lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, at Udayana University, since March 1999. She has a lot of experience in international research collaboration, such as Shinshu University and Kyoto University in Japan, and Southern Cross University Australia. She has expertise in analytical chemistry, especially in developing methods in the electrochemical field.
