Biografi

Born in Bebetin Village, Sawan District, Buleleng Regency, Bali. After graduating from SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja (Smantiara) in 1991, continued her higher education at the Biology Department, FMIPA UNUD. The Bachelor of Science (S.Sc.) degree was gained  in 1996 and in February 1997 was appointed as a teaching staff at the beloved alma mater. Continuing her Masters education in 2011 with an AusAid scholarship at The School of Plant Biology at the University of Western Australia. The Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in the field of horticulture was achieved in 2004. In 2009  she returned to The University of Western Australia to study for her  doctorate and her  PhD degree was  achieved  in 2012. Starting in 2012, he is now actively teaching in the Biology Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University at the S1, S2 and S3 levels. Teaching plant courses (Botany) include: Plant Physiology, Plant Ecophysiology, Phytohormones, Essential Oils, Bioenergy, Phytocosmetics, Plant Breeding, Plant Genetics, Bioindustry, Entrepreneurship and English. Actively conducting research with a focus on exploring oil-producing plant species that have the potential to be used as biodiesel feed stocks. It also examines species of plants producing essential oils, identifies active compounds and processes them into derivative products based on the biological activity of certain types of essential oils. The current research grants is extraction and analysis of essential oils from fragrance lemongrass (Cymbopogon nardus) and legundi (Vitex trifolia) which are then formulated as an anti-mosquito lotion to prevent the bite of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. Actively attending various national and international scientific seminars to disseminate the results of research that has been achieved. The results are published in the national journal indexed by Sinta and in the international journal indexed by Scopus. Other academic tasks that are carried out are to supervise students in Field Work, supervise student’s theses, theses examiners and become students’ academic advisers (PA). Actively doing community service activities and has won a Science and Technology grant for the Community (IbM) in 2017 and the Udayana Serving Program (PUM) in 2019.
